More details on the new album are to be announced in the coming weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Blackfoot Gypsies is Matthew Paige (vocals, guitar), Zack Murphy (drums), Dylan Whitlow (bass, vocals) and Ollie Dogg (harmonica). The band have shared bills with everyone from the Alabama Shakes and Trampled by Turtles to Futurebirds, The Ettes and The Carolina Chocolate Drops. With four years, four releases, and countless miles under their belt as a two-piece guitar & drums powerhouse, Zack Murphy and<br \/>\nMatthew Paige have recently added fellow brethren Dylan Whitlow (bass) and Ollie “Dogg” Horton (harmonica), bolstering their passionate, careening, undeniably American sound. Seeing the band live is like watching someone cling to a fire hose at full blast or dig their heels in atop a thrashing mechanical bull\u2026 holding on for dear life, slowly guiding and reacting to forces at the brink of their control, somehow coming up aces in the end.<\/p>\n<p>The band’s second full-length LP, Handle It (coming spring 2015), is Blackfoot Gypsies\u2019 debut as a full-throttle four piece. Drawing inspiration from the down-home roots of the Delta blues and the foreboding ghosts of country music\u2019s past, Murphy, Paige & Co. go to the same deep well as Zeppelin, the Stones & The Faces did before them, coming up with a bucketful of angsty rock ‘n’ roll that\u2019ll jolt your flat lined heart back into perfect rhythm.
